The moisture-resistant, three-layer construction is appropriate for situations where exposure to dust, body fluids, gaseous particles should be avoided. The three layers consist of an outer hydrophobic non-woven layer, the white filtration middle layer, and an absorbent white, non-woven inner layer. The pleats are to be stretched to cover both the nose and mouth areas. The stretchable earloops make the mask more comfortable to be worn. It is equipped with a pliable metal strip that should be folded to form a tight contour over the nose bridge.
